My love of photography began many years ago when my friend and I snapped photos at the Pittsburgh Pirates games. A few times, we took our prints to Gate A of the old Three Rivers Stadium to have the subject of the photos sign them for us. I guess I should say that’s when I started to really think about what photos I was taking. Prior to that I took pictures...many pictures...because I wanted to save those moments to spark memories when I would look at them in the future.

Today, sparking memories is still my goal. If one considers the word “photography” and breaks it into its roots, the word literally means the telling of a story through photos. This defines how I try to capture important days whether it is a day spent with family and friends, a vacation, or a wedding.
